Our Story: Rooted in Engineering & Media, Growing with Purpose
New Wave Productions Limited was incorporated on 8 June 1993 (RC 220905) by Engineer Ivan C. Uneanya and media entrepreneur Charles Emeka Oputa. What began as a two-man dream—one bulldozer, one broadcast camera and a borrowed office in Lagos—was fuelled by a single conviction: Nigeria’s infrastructure and stories could be built and broadcast to world-class standard, by Nigerians, for Nigeria.
From Lagos to Abuja
By 1996 we had completed our first federal road-maintenance project (Minna-Katergi-Bida, 42 km) and produced our first televised documentary for Imo State Government. The revenue from every job was ploughed back into plant and people: a CAT D6 bulldozer, a 25-ton mobile crane, broadcast-grade cameras and an in-house team of editors. In 2003 we relocated headquarters to 31, 6th Avenue, FCT Abuja—placing us at the geographic and political heart of the nation.
From Lagos to Abuja
Today our fleet counts 29 heavy units, our crew 58 full-time staff and our client list spans CBN, INEC, Nigeria Police Force, Federal Ministry of Power and NCC. We are now expanding into Ghana and Senegal, aiming to be West Africa’s first-choice partner for turnkey engineering, compelling media content and reliable procurement—by 2027.

Our accounts are audited annually since 2017, our tax clearance is current, our pension (PENCOM) and social-insurance (NSITF) certificates are renewed without default. We maintain ₦50 million public-liability cover and a zero-incident safety record across all sites since 2021.
